Glider airfields are located in Salzburg, Mauterndorf and Zell-am-See. Airfields for RC planes, along with demonstrations and classes in RC-flying, are available in Abtenau, Bramberg, Piesendorf, Eugendorf, Salzburg, Rauris, St. Johann and Unternberg.

Some 90 different fishing waters, from the big lakes of the Alpine Foothills to our mountain tarns, from the Salzach to the Lammer rivers, are home to such species as pike, grayling, char, rainbow and brook trout.
